Welcome to a Story in Stone

Hi and welcome to - a Story in Stone. My name is Myka Boots and this is my Story,

I live in Aotearoa (New Zealand) on a special Island called Waiheke, just off the east coast of Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Stones have always held a special place in my life, I spend a lot of my time climbing up our mountains and streams, walking along the remote beaches looking out for beautiful treasures that may find me on the way.

Created inside a galaxy many of years ago these stones were formed deep inside our Planet Earth’s crust, they were pushed up to the top of the mountains, transforming as they tumble down to where they lay today.

About 10 years ago I found my passion for carving, working with these stones I had collected over a lifetime led me to discovering their unique way that they had connected with my energy within.

I learnt more of the magic these stone hold, how they each hold their own unique energy, much like a song, we can’t see it playing but we can hear and feel it. A stone also plays its own invisible song coded with a geometric pattern that each emits a healing frequency that can change the way we experience life, moment to day.

I carve to make this connection, between Human to stone being, through a blessing, love created into each piece.

My belief and intention is to create a more beautiful life experience for the wearer and all that surrounds them.
